The coat looks custom to me, I doesn't remind of any military uniform that I've seen. The pants are puttees and while not common these days they can be found online here and there, particularly for WW II reenating though it might be tough to find a pair that will match the coat exactly so you might be better off getting them custom made so the two will match. As for the boots, they look a lot like regular riding boots although WW II German boots might be a good match along w/surplus East German parade boots.

Great costume choice, I have all of my Dads Blackhawk comic books from the 50s, fun series.

Same here! I had forgotten about this guy and that comic! Cool idea. I love the more obsure costumes. Really looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Just to correct Riceball's identification of the pants. They're jodhpurs, not puttees. Puttees were the leg wraps used in WW1. Jodhpurs are still used in uniforms, especially motorcycle police. Sometimes jodhpurs are known as riding breeches. This information may help you locate a supplier more easily.

Thanks for the correction, the funny thing is that I know what jodhpurs are but for some reason I came up with puttees.

awesome, i didnt have any idea that there was a black hawk serial. im in a pulp hero kick, and every time i see black hawk pop up is a neat surprise.

The cheapest pairs of riding breeches I've seen on the net have been East German army pants, I've got a pair, they fit nice. :)
