Hi,just joined the group,wondered on your thoughts on this vest armor from black Hawk Down,is it authentic or replica,thanks.

Well, it does look artificially weathered, but without a certificate of authenticity there's no way of knowing for sure if it's really a prop from a movie - or what movie it may have been used for.

It's the right manufacturer and production date, so it <i>could</i> have been used in the movie, but like Axlotl said, without a COA it would be hard to pin it down. OTHIC is the last name of a character from the movie, played by Kent Linville. You may try to find some screen caps to match the distinctive parts of the woodland camo pattern.
