Admittedly, I'm not the biggest trooper fan around, but that is quite badass.
An RPF'ers handiwork by chance? If so, more pics and info, please! :thumbsup
Also, the SW extended universes tend to break my brain, but is this considered canonical?

Yes it is indeed canon, albeit in question, seeing the new clone wars series is screwing up the lore around the whole mandalorians and such pretty badly. Its Omega Squad, a republic commando squad, with quite a few books written about them. Not to be confused with Delta squad from the republic commando games.

As to the costume, I have no idea, but you could go check over on the detachment sites of the 501st, they can probably point you in the right direction of the maker.

It's EU accurate. Canon is made, torn asunder and remade on a weekly basis.

I saw the armor up close on Thursday, its an impressive build. The rifle is huge.

If anyone has questions I'll try to answer them - I may have a photo or two, let me go through them.

The other Republic Commandos appear to be wearing PA armor and helmets. It's hard to tell from the video, so if anyone has picks that would be great.

I think I actually followed the WIP thread for the build on this armor over on clonetroopers.net. He did a really great job on one of the Omega boys there.

My TZA helmet hasn't shipped yet, but fortunately I have the MWA one. I talked to the other RCs (they actually live just north of me) and they are indeed all wearing PA armor.
Dakarn, if you have any pics of me in costume, I'd love to get copies. My phone broke the day I arrived in Florida, so I had to depend on other people taking pics of me.

Thank you for the compliments on the armor guys. While MandoMerc is right to link you to his thread(seeing as the armor featured is his kit). For more info you should really read through this thread. It'll show you how we made the kit from start to present.
