Hi, this is my first post here. I love Bioshock Infinite and I simply adore the little toy Songbirds scattered around Columbia. So I decided to make one myself!

Made with pleather (faux leather), wire armature in the wings and weathered with acrylic paints. Everything is handstitched and I drew the patterns out myself.
For the eyes and the wing buttons, I made them out of washers and metal clock gears.

The first set of wings I made was too small. Of course I only realized after I've installed the armature and sewed everything up. Luckily, I happened to have some spare fabric, so I made a second smaller Songbird. I didn't weather this though to contrast it with the larger worn out Songbird. The larger toy is around 18cm tall and the smaller one is 15cm.

Right now Songbird is on my office desk, keeping me company. His little brother has been given as a gift to my friend.
