Bill Murray as Venkman at Scream

I could easily see him like that behind a desk planning retirement.
Having expanded Ghostbusters to a national franchise with training centers. LOL
Become a Ghostbuster! Become fully licensed in your spare time!

oh well. Neat pictures.

Such a mean tease! The outfit still looks awesome on him and I think they'd be good for a third film.

Oh well. Grain of salt until something fully develops.

You would think people would've learned from:

- Blues Brothers 2000
- Indy IV
- the Prequels

Trust me. You do not want a GB3. Not with the way Hollywood works today. Go play the X360 game and be happy with that (it really IS a good game). Let it go.

I mean, I love Ghostbusters as much as anyone else. I still remember seeing it in the theaters as a little kid. It still gives me thrills to watch. The second one is mildly entertaining in a "cashing in" kind of way, too. But I guaran-****ing-tee you that a third one would in no way be as good as the first. You cannot recapture lightning in a bottle. At best you'd get something like #2. At worst, you'd get any of the movies I listed above.

They should just make ghostbusters 3 a video game. They get the cash, we get the 80s back so everyone wins.

Actually I meant an official Ghostbusters 3. Though it is a really good game i just consider it a side story.

It had Ivan Reitman and Dan Akroyd involved in it's writing. I don't know how much more official than that you can get.

Amen brother. I've been saying this for years!

GREAT to see him in the suit giving the fans what they love but I still don't want a GB3. Thankfully it seems that Bill is on quality control when it comes to that subject.

And I don't know what you guys are talking about. He looks great despite his grays!

I guess some of us have enough of an open mind to give it a chance and not let it ruin what has come before or have to ***** about it endlessly if it doesn't turn out to our liking.

The game was great fun and captured the spirit well, just a little short. I'd be more than happy for them to make more of those although it's too bad that sales were less than stellar.

Say what you like about complaining about sequels, the SW prequels very nearly killed the originals for me. I don't moan about it, I don't hop on the bashing bandwagon, but it made something that was very special to me less special.

Sometimes a sequel (or prequel) is just the wrong thing to do. If GB3 comes out of course I'll see it, but will it further these characters? Will it add to the franchise? Or will it simply be a cash in like so many others?

First thing I learned in film school was "Nobody sets out to make a bad movie". This is true. I honestly believe that Steve, George, and Harrison thought that Indy 4 would be great. That doesn't make it good and with beloved franchises one should tread carefully because the bar has been set high. OF COURSE fans are going to be disappointed and upset if it's sub-par.

Films like GB, BTTF, SW, and Indy are part of the public consciousness. Mess it up and pay the consequences.

Well, I don't know much about the video game... other than what I just saw (I don't play video games)... but what about a full length CGI feature using what they already have here. That way it's not the geriatric meets the next generation... Which is the idea that most can't stand.

Well... it was an idea.

Anyway... did this air already? I don't get to watch weeknight prime time TV.
