Best hot Glue Gun.

I am looking for the best hot glue gun to add to my tool bench.

I have no context and amazon and home depot haven't been a help.

I am an admitted ignorant in the tool, any suggestion would be appreciated.

A good summary of high and low temp glue guns of one make, I use a cheap one I got from Lidl and it's good, but I'm also considering buying a switchable temp gun , enjoy, hopefully some people will jump in with their preference

I have an expensive Bosch and a cheap Ozito. I have found no real difference in working production, so the Ozito wins on price.

My advice....buy a cheap one, if it dies, buy the expensive one. Price wise the Bosch was $30 and the Ozito $10, so it's not a loss to test out the cheaper brands. Interestingly I had an expensive brand and it was rubbish, took forever to warm up and it's heating was inconsistent.

Also depends on how often you really want to use it.

Years ago I was doing a lot of projects and kept getting them from Joann Fabrics. They never lasted very long before dying. So I got a pretty decent one at Home Depot and like 6 or more years later still works great.
