Here i start my new project. It will be for Lucca 2013 in holloween period... this is the list of things i have to realize:

The repeating crossbow 0% aborted. Too much objects to bring with me and no more room. Maybe next time...

Love Berserk, reading the manga and just finished watching the third Arc anime.

NICE. Berserk is still one of the most brutal animes of all time, and one of my favorites. Guts is such a bad ass, and this costume is going to be AWESOME. Can't wait to see more!

thank you all. in this costume, unlike my last (Captain America) I will not construct that few parts, because the armor, sword, and various metal parts, will forge me a friend of mine, who was a blacksmith. if everything goes as it should, it will be spectacular. we are studying how to make sword and cannon, and how to really shoot the cannon!:lol

I'm trying to keep at least part of my philosophy of "if it flies, even for a moment, but you have to fly"

still having 2 arms (thankfully):rolleyes, I had to think of something to give the effect of the cannon, without putting it in place of the hand. I'll need both hands to wield the dragon slayer, because I'm trying to make it of metal:cool. these are some 3d images of the additional piece, which I will add when the cannon will be about to fire. It will have a quick relese, so that, if I will be sufficiently fast and hide a little the movement it will look really I've lowered my hand, and the cannon is "came out":lol

Mikhail (my awesome weaponsmith) calculated the weight of the dragonslayer; at now will be about 8 kg. it's too heavy and we have to find a way to reduce it

In these days i went to Prato, a city about 40 km away from my home to take some firecrackers in a specialized shop... the firecracker!:lol
the owner gave me a legal, free sale, firecracker, which generates a great noise. I did some tests to show the explosive power to Mikhail, and study how to build the arm ... meanwhile mikhail sent me some photos of the work he has done until now. there are still many things ... hope to make it in time for Lucca :eek...

wow! looks awesome! You're doing everything hardcore..! Love that!..

for dragonslayer, a friend was going to do it cold cast metal.. so it could be buffed like metal shine, but weighs far less.... just an idea!

Mikhail is doing a awesome work. There are problems to be solved,things impossible to do etc, but he is a very skilled and intuitive smith and every problem is solved in no time :-D

Started the Dragonslayer. It will be made of metal. Mikhail says it will weight about 6 kg. It seems fairly light to be so big!

Mikhail says me that the cannon will be be bigger than the manga becouse my hand have to pass through the cannon's mouth.

Incredible! Keep up the good work. Big Berserk fan as well. Don't see many Gustsu costumes. Can't wait to see the final product!
