BENJI GREGORY 'ALF' STAR DEAD AT 46

The actor's sister Rebecca tells TMZ her brother was found dead in his car at a Chase Bank parking lot in Peoria, AZ, on June 13.

His death certificate confirms that date, and the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office tells us Benji's cause of death is still pending.

Rebecca tells us her brother suffered from depression, bipolar disorder and had a sleep disorder that often kept him awake for days.

Like cold, heat is a killer. It doesn't take much to doze off for just a second and that's it.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had the air-conditioning on when his car died and he never noticed.

Phoenix goes beyond the human-habitable temp range for a lot of the summer.

It's going to be more of an issue in the future with climate change. Tons of people on earth are living in areas that are borderline habitable. A few more degrees of heat will be a game-changer.

Not really in Phoenix. We survived 130° back in 1991 (despite the news weather sources lying about it for decades) we will do it again if it ever repeats.
