Just though I'd post a little weekend project that I've had on my list of things to make for years. It's Delia's sculpture from Beetlejuice. Since pictures of the original stop motion puppet appeared on the Internet, it re-sparked my interest in sculpting my own.
I did a quick wire frame armature, which I coated in kitchen paper soaked in plaster (cheap and easy). I then sculpted the detail over the top using apoxie sculpt. The paint was fairly straight forward, and I'm really pleased with how it has turned out. Let me know what you think.
