Large images warning!

Had some free time today, so I made the Betelgeuse flyer that falls out of the Handbook. Don't think I've seen it around?

Hand drawn from screengrabs, its closer now - thanks Howlrunner!
The running family is almost all guesswork.

Would make a cool T-shirt!

Have fun weathering it!

Great! I was JUST thinking about this yesterday! :thumbsup

Have you considered making his business card which uses the same artwork? You see 3 on his desk in the very first scene showing Beetlejuice (well, his arms and hands).

Oh, and we need his newspaper:

"ECTOPLASM LEAK AT PLANT NUMBER 9"
"EXORCISM RATE SOARS"

That small text would make sense and appears to fit the number and length of words on the business card. :thumbsup

As for the "Beetlejuice" font, going through what I already have installed on my computer in Microsoft Word, it appears to be Balloonist SF (Fonts starting with letter B), David, FrankRuehl, Leverim MT, Miriam, Narkisim or Rod (to me these all look EXACTLY the same on my computer).

Re-uploaded the images with the fixed font and the text next to the roach guy.

Thanks for the lead on the font, Howlrunner! Matches better now!
Went with 'Speak my name 3 times' - fits pretty well. Used the same font as for the side text, just to match in with the style.

I'm eyeing up that newspaper, trying to figure stuff out - doable, yeah. I'll see if I can get to it. Oh, and what about the obituary page 'Welcome the Maitlands' ?

Thanks again, Howl!

Probably went a little heavy on the tea-staining, but its fine for it!

Once dry, I sprinkled a little talcum powder on it to smooth it out - fades the ink down a tad, and once rubbed in gives an almost greasy sheen to the paper.

Now, onto the Handbook...

If I have some free time tomorrow, I may start working on it...I have the high-rez art from the handbook as a starting point, so it shouldn't be too hard.

my girl and I may be goin as bj and lydia this year, so if you were gonna do the pamphlet or a dust jacket etc. it would make my day.

Here's a version of the Handbook cover I used for mine.

I fixed the spine text, and added a little more colour to the lettering and put a little texture into the background.

Linkie, as image is quite large. Enjoy!
