So, I am trying to find an inexpensive flash hider or barrel shroud I can buy or make in order to convert a UKARMS CX4 Storm into a replica of the BSG Colonial Marine Rifle. The flash hider is not to be found anywhere. There is a real one made by MFI available for $58 (after tax and shipping it's $68) but it's not really accurate. It is for a real CX4 Storm and it is designed to cover the barrel. I really just want a flash hider I can attach to a cut-down plastic barrel on a $22 spring-loaded airsoft gun.
I can't believe this isn't available for $10 somewhere. There aren't even flash hiders at airsoft web sites that come close to the one on the show.
I searched the forum and found only ONE thread on this, and it's 3 years old...with no new info.
Can anyone point me in a direction for starters?
