JJ Abrams was on Howard Stern yesterday talking about how much he hates when a trailer basically gives away the whole movie. I think he's really going to hate this trailer then. :lol

Seriously though I liked a lot of what I saw, but Jesse Eisenberg made me want to throw a Kryptonite rock through my TV. I'm still trying to figure out how the hell he was chosen for the role of Lex Luthor. Obviously nobody will ever top Hackman and even though Superman Returns was a giant POS at least Kevin Spacey was a decent Luthor. Eisenberg, however, looks like he will just be unbearably annoying when he's on screen and that's a damn shame because the rest of the movie actually looks pretty good.

So is that confirmed to be Doomsday.... because it looks horrible. Like the love child of Abomination from Incredible Hulk and the cave troll from LotR.

Agreed, this trailer feels very cheap. The music is really generic. Nothing about this screams epic comic hero crossover.

I like Cavill and Affleck but good god, Eisenberg has surpassed my expectations of completely ruining this movie and Lex Luthor. What an absolutely catastrophic miscasting.
While I'll totally see this, I'm by no means looking forward to it as much as I was thanks to this trailer. It almost looks like a made for TV movie.

I will say Affleck's Bat-voice is way better than Bale's Clint-Batwood voice.

I disagree...

Doomsday looks like the love child of one of the Thing from FF and a ninja turtle..... and abomination.

Affleck was clearly the stand out here.

Cavill is the same vacuous character we met in MoS. And how the heck does anyone believe he's a reporter? He doesn't even try to act or look like one. His excessive head tilt and spastic blinking eyes are seriously distracting.

Eisenberg? What ... the ... heck? The voice? Did someone cut his nads or something?
If he just played himself that would have been better than what he was trying to do here. Just awful beyond words...
The key to being your stereotypical eccentric villain (which he's trying to do, no doubt) is that you has to have presence and charisma. Hackman, Spacey and Leger sold their roles with heaps of both.
Eisenberg demonstrates neither so he's just annoying.

Why is Clarke asking Bruce about the bat vigilante like its a new thing, surely Batman has been around a good while in this universe?

And Eisenberg is just dire, somebody wants shooting for that casting.

For me it felt like they both already knew each others secret identity. While Lex isnt exactly what i hoped, i dint mind him that much. The Trinity shots more then made up for it tho. And i for one dont think anything was spoiled in this trailer. Practicly all that was shown was stuff we knew anyway...

Jesse as Lex just doesn’t cut it for me. And yeah, not really digging this as much as I wanted. Too bad because this is an epic team up movie that Zach Snyder just doesn’t get.

In one week I went from being pleasantly surprised from the teaser with Bruce tied up, to a hell NO after seeing this pile of poo trailer. Its like whoever made the trailer had zero F#@%s to give. From the cutting to the bad music queues. And they ruined Doomsday, he looks like either a bad Killer Croc reject or Slash from ninja turtles. Either way that is not Doomsday :(

Ugh. I guess I could nitpick this... but, instead I'll ask WTF is up with that music? It's terrible and annoying - especially towards the end.

...and Luthor introducing Clark and Bruce seems more than a bit lame.

Wow - that was well beneath my low expectations! It's like an overserious Schumacher debacle. Hopefully soon filmmakers will understand that you can't claim both "real world" grittiness and whatever narrative real estate those three clowns occupy at the end in the same film. The former invites scrutiny that the latter doesn't hold up to. There's a reason why the "fun" superhero movies and the simpler solo universe installments are the most successful ones.

Is this movie going to be 6 hours long? That is a ton of crap to put into one movie. They are trying to establish the JL waaaaaaaaaaay too fast.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels the same way. I was pumped when then teaser came out that had Batman tied up but now after seeing the trailer I'm pretty let down. I kind of feel like a deflated balloon over this. Why do we need to show the entire movie in the trailer. Oh and why is Bats running around with a rifle?

so you would rather they start with all the heroes separate?

Besides next up is wonder woman (suicide squad also) and then JL part 1 with after that, the other heroes stand alone films (flash, aquaman, shazam) and then JL part 2. So i see no way on how they are too fast. Its just a different approach to save us from marvel fanboys crying out copycats.

I just realized who Eisenberg reminds me of in his pathetic attempt at playing Lex Luthor....Garth from Wayne's World. :lol

I have no real interest in this film at this point, or really any of DC's upcoming cinematic universe.

As long as they leave the Berlantiverse on TV alone, though, I'm perfectly happy to sit back and munch popcorn while I watch the 52-care pileup that will be the DC studio honchos trying -- and failing -- to make their cinematic universe cool.

The last 20 seconds or so of that trailer really put a pit in my stomach. I was kinda-sorta-eh liking what I saw near the beginning as well as the more recent trailer they showed at comicon, but I have to say.... AND PLEASE, I LOVE SUPERMAN AND BATMAN WITH ALL MY HEART..... this looks bad.

This trailer definitely looks like they gave away the linear plot of the film and at what point they call a truce and focus toward Doomsday and the entrance of Wonder Woman. I really don't like when trailers give that much away and wish the industry would take a lesson about the art of selling through mystery and out of order snippets in misdirection to drive people to want to find out more, not see the cliff notes version of a film before it comes out.

I LOVE the Doomsday/Death of Superman comics, but I REALLY don't like how the film version looks. I wish he arrived on that green suit and goggles he was in when before his more monster appearance was made apparent. I will echo what everyone else has said about the abomination from Hulk. He actually looks like they just cast Abomination as Doomsday.

Lex... THE stand out worst casting I have seen. He was far better portrayed in the cartoons from Bruce Timm... and well the comics, too. I think there's enough out there now that I can make a pretty good conclusion that this Lex is probably the worst incarnation on film to-date.

Wonder Woman.... what can I say? Not much right now because I need to see her character developed more before I can get more of that "wow" factor. Right now, I can just see Wonder Woman and feel excited about it. Again, will see how they do with that.

I'm sadly not very excited about seeing this movie anymore. I WILL be going to see it in the theaters and REALLY hope to have my mind changed, but I do not have high hopes at this point.

Ugh.... Okay I need a coffee and time to stew over this. Maybe it's just a bad morning. This bums me out, man....
