Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I don't even know if we'll see him wearing that cowl in the film. The way it is presented with all of the wires and everything it looks more like a prototype or something that will be in development in the Batcave.

...I don't really like that bat on his chest but I think the costume is cool.
Assuming you're referring to the new design and not my Photoshop gag in post #2699, it sure has changed over the years with each new live-action production.

I'd say the newest version is arguably the most stylized and the one that least resembles a real bat, but by now Batman is so well known that you could probably put almost any winged black symbol on a gray background and people would automatically think "Batman".

I think the Begins symbol is probably my favorite of the cinematic symbols. I greatly dislike the ones with the yellow background, mostly because so much cheap Batman merchandise uses that look.

Begins is my favorite of the cinematic symbols as well.

Perhaps you can whip up another Photoshop "gag" with that too Zombie_61. :lol

Don't get me wrong, I think the armor is cool even sans Bat symbol. Maybe a little boring visually, but cool none-the-less.

I never really liked the "yellow oval" version until Frank Miller explained in The Dark Knight Returns that it was a target--something for the "bad guys" to aim at because Batman couldn't armor his head, but he could wear a bulletproof vest under the Batsuit. I know that isn't the real-world reason for the addition of the yellow oval, but at least it finally made a little sense to me.

Sure, no problem.

:D

Could any of those gadgets be 'Kryptonian repellant Bat spray'? ;)
The one that made me laugh is this thing that looks like a hand grenade:

On another website they had a nice hi-res shot of that "Instructions" label, and it actually says something like, "Pull the pin, hold the lever close to the body of the device until you are ready to release it..." I imagined Bruce Wayne discussing this with Lucius Fox and saying, "Listen, I've had hundreds of these things over the years and I'm getting old. Could you have your guys put the instructions on it somewhere just in case I have a brain fart in the middle of battle?" :lol

And for Mr Mold Maker:

I rather like the Begins chest symbol on this; the design sort of lends itself to the "high tech but crude" Medieval look of the armor suit.

Hahahaha, yea. Just immagine Batman fumbling around in the heat of battle trying to read the instructions on that grenade. "Hmmm..lets see now, how's this thing work?!!"

I wonder if anyone at the con who doesn't know much about the film thinks this movie is called Batman 5 Superman from those placards.

I thought it was weird too, but I guess they're doing it star wars style.

I can't wait for next episode; Batman VI: Return of the Kryptonian. Lets just hope the prequels don't suck.

That's what those lenses are on the "tech cowl"--they're Bruce Wayne's reading glasses! :D

Could it maybe be a stunt/fx grenade and the instructions are for safe handling by Ben and the stuntmen?
I suppose that's a possibility, but I'd guess it's simply the prop maker(s) being thorough just in case that label gets seen in the movie.

Just read that Snyder arrived to Hall H in the batmobile, throwing t-shirts to the fan waiting. That's pretty cool, I'm curious to see the t-shirts ! And their price on eBay...
