Batman Space Helmet

Hey everyone, my name is Aziz. I enjoyed the concept of forums ,such as the RPF, allowing fellow fans to share their creativity and help others with their craft. Iv'e done helmets and such when I was younger, but now I feel I can be a little more serious about it. As the title says, I want to make a space helmet for Batman. I have already made a 3D model for it, and it's suitable for Pepakura. Unfortunately, I can't save the Pepkaura file, for I have the free version:unsure. Perhaps someone would like to unfold it? Who knows. If only I had a 3D printer.

Aziz, that is a great design, hopefully you can figure out how to post the file. I've built a lot of pepakura armors but never unfolded one. I'm sure there are others here that could unfold it if you uploaded the file or sent it to someone to unfold. Good luck You should build the rest of the armor as well

I would really love to see this modified with the traditional Batman "scowling eyebrows". Even without "eyes" it could make it pretty mean looking.

I hope you can get it converted to pepakura somehow! Please keep me / us all posted on your progress!

Good news guys. I managed to get a hold of a registered version of Pepakura. I have already unfolded a cardboard/foam template for the helmet, for I am attempting to make mine out of cardboard. Let me know if any of you want the Pep file.

Okay. I sincerely doubt anyone is reading this thread since I practically killed it (it's been over a friggin' year). I never managed to make my own version of the helmet simply due to the fact that I don't have the resources (or money) to make it. Since I can't make my own helmets, I'm considering making files for the community to make, and I also want to create a 3D printable version of the helmet (which will probably look very different from the original). I'll try my best to not have the Arkham Knight Helmet subconsciously affect my design.

Ok so since my previous post I came up with sketches for the new version of the helmet. After doing so, I created a shady blueprint of my head to see if the helmet will be proportionate enough for me to wear.

I began modeling my helmet in Blender and I'm almost done, I just have to do some more edge looping and smoothening out the vertices.

With the modifiers, my helmet looks like this.
