Hi i have decided to make a sonar suit costume i have tried to make this costume several times befeore but have never got it right so i am trying it again

Ok so today i just finshed molding the chest it looks great

so you molded that chest? did you sculpt it? would love to see pics of your sculpture work.

I made the abdominal plates out of foam i only sculpted the pectoral armour but everything else was made of foam then just cast liquid latex and then trimmed it to my size i also sprayed black spray paint to finish it off and am doing the same thing with the legs because it takes little time also i am working on the straps onthe chest so it is easy to take on and off so it is comfortable to wear

reason I ask for progress pics is that it looks an awful lot like Paul Roberts aka Artsee1's chest piece.
I had the same one a few years back and I noticed it right away. This is from Paul's site.
If I'm wrong and you can produce sculpture pictures and progress of the chest, I'll be more than happy to apologize for jumping the gun, but no one posts finished pics of their work without showing some progress shots to prove they are the maker.

I didn't really have a process i just used paper templates and traced it on to the 2 layered foam base and cut the template out of one of the foam layers the just sculpted the pectorals from picture

Also i am almost finished the legs just letting the latex dry also i am still waiting for my cowl to arrive it is a custom cowl off of the 1989 batman cowl. Also just going to start the belt

No i made this chest for me i am only 12 i am 4 11" i made this chest for me the one paul robeerts made is for some one for 5 8" this one was made for me. Used the pictures from pc and drew by hand

Well ether way it makes me proud to see kids your age make their costumes rather than buy crappy cheap costume and rubies (still a crappy costume). Even though you are young, I'm going to have to agree with SuperRyan21 that you need to post some w.i.p pictures. Best of luck

Thats when I first started gettin interested in cosplay and costuming. I'm 16 now and have built 2 helmets successfully, others were failed attempts. I too will be building a batman costume from TDK. Best of luck to you! Looks great from the pics!
