Hi,

I don't have screencap to compare, but this:

repaint could do a good mini mine ?

Well it could...

But when closed the spikes are completely flush with the mine.

Could be a decent "close enough" budget replica though.

Actually, I see some potential here. From what I understand, the Noble Collection paperweight mine is about the size of tennis ball - which seems close to the larger mine just behind Batman's hand. The spike's on that replica supposedly don't retract either.

These LED's look closer in size to the smaller mines. If you shaved of the red plastic "legs" and did a little modding, I bet you could end up with a pretty close replica - maybe even with spikes that deploy.... anyone up for a little brainstorming on how this could be done?

I have a source for some excellent shells-housings for the mini mine, try using the various sizes of empty round vending capsules (which come apart in half-sphere pieces), such take paint and adhesives very nicely.

One note, the large gashapon-sized capsules are not perfectly round.

If you were looking for something that would fit in a utility belt, per se, I would just Grab wooden balls from Michaels, drill small holes in them, and add dowel rods... more for the visual than functional.
