With the release of the redesign of Batgirl, I started my cosplay about 2 days after. This is what I've put together so far.
I still have the jacket (WHICH IS KILLING ME), gloves, and cowl left to put together.
Finding an existing jacket that is cheap is so flipping hard. So I resorted to buying the fabric online and getting a pattern and everything. I'm very frustrated about the jacket because my sewing machine blows. I'm super anal about accuracy so the jacket has to be PERFECT. Everything else so far as been pretty easy and cheap. I'm sculpting the cowl as we speak and am going to cast in latex. This will be my first time trying to make a mold of a sculpture and making a cast.
Any suggestions on ANY part of this are greatly appreciated! I'll update the more I get completed. I'm trying to have this done by Boston Comic Con (Aug 9th).
