Hello people!
I decided to make a Batman gauntlet, and I was fascinated by the Affleck's version. So, I made my attempt by the traditional sculpting/cast approach.
Initialy, I tried to make it with EVA foam, based on a duct tape dummy of my own forearm. However, the final result was too artificial, with little resemblance to something organic. Then, I decided to sculpt. At the first try, I let myself be carried away by excitement, and took measures wrongly, having to start from scratch. At the second try, it went OK.
NOTICES:
- I know the gauntlet doesn't have that New 52-style segmentations, and this is intentional. I made the segmentations, and I was almost going to make the mold. But I gave a second and thought I could use these build in other costumes, if it was not segmented. So, I removed segmentation lines, and went to molding.
- This is the first version. Size and spacement of the fins need to be adjusted. Painting needs to be improved.
