This project started just over a month ago when I contacted Chris about getting an accurate cape for the BvS big fig. The plan for his custom cowl was in motion just a few days later. Chris shipped his life cast on the 6th of April, and it arrived on the 13th (Sydney to Oklahoma in a week, what!?). I'm in the final stretch of the sculpt: about 1/3 done with the texture. I didn't plan on/ want to do this mask (again), but the challenge/ opportunity to do 1 specifically for someone as skilled and committed as Chris was too good to pass on. And the other leg of this collaborative tripod is just as talented and passionate. Iconic Collectibles is as high-end as it gets when it comes to replica Batman costuming. This will be the 3rd time I've sent a mold to IC and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. He'll be reproducing these for the public to buy at some point in May.
But anyway, the cowl... There's already been a lot of positive feedback and inquiries about availability, but you can never tell who's serious and who isn't. So that is the purpose of this thread. If you are *seriously* interested in getting 1 of these, please reply and I will message you privately about how to lock a spot in line. This Batfleck cowl will be $250 plus shipping for RPF members, and will be more expensive through other channels.
The goal was to make it fit Chris' head, so I hesitate to say it will fit any larger of a head than 22.5 inches. A thin casting might fit a 23, but 22.5 was always the target.
