barbarella costume help

Hello! Trying to be barbarella for halloween and her whole costume is easy expect for.... her plastic bra/top. does anyone have any ways to make this? Or know anyone who would make it for me?

Vacuum forming would work but could be pretty uncomfortable, plus you'd need to make a form for it first. Pereonally i'd go get a clear rain coat (I assume they are still available) and cut it up and sew it back together in the shape you want.

Transparent Worbla should work- but you will probably need to make an EVA foam suit for your templates to press the Worbla against for shaping.

I've used worbla for a mask and formed it directly on my face after heating with a hair dryer,
so I think that would work no matter what your form/reference is.

Check YouTube - KamuiCosplay is a good place to start.
Even if you don't do it yourself, get familiar with the technique.

I know someone who made this costume. She did a body cast and then vacuformed the pieces. Not only do you have to do the top, but the belly button is piece is also plastic.

She also had to be sewn into the bra/shoulder pieces. From the references she studied, there aren't any obvious openings in that part. She used clear elastic to hold the plastic strips together.
