Bantha Milk

So my girlfriend and. I were in the mood for some hot cocoa (too late for coffee) and we were in a pretty geeky mood so we decided to make some Bantha Milk hot cocoa. Thanks Pinterest! The recipe is really simple

• 4 cups of milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 8 oz white chocolate chips
• neon blue food coloring

Pour ingredients in a sauce pan with medium heat, stir occasionally and don't let it boil.

Cheers!

This is something I can get behind. The stuff at Galaxy’s Edge is coconut milk dyed blue and green. Not my idea of awesome. But this...this qualifies as awesome.

I realize there is basically a splinter conversation going on here but I wanted to specifically address edible blue milk.

I can’t believe the product at Galaxys Edge is what made it through their tasting and vetting process. I’ve been vegan/plant based whatever before and I understand the call for options in a theme park setting, but I totally think making BOTH options plant based was a misstep. They’ve got two colors, make one (blue) a dairy drink and the other (green) a dairy free option. Or just make TWO BLUE options and have one dairy free. They also have no reason to be fruity (It’s mammalian milk?!). People by sticky sweet butterbeer year round at WWOHP, this melted popsicle fruit medicine they sell at GE doesn’t even come close to cutting it.

I know this was a rant but it still sticks out to me as such a failure on their part, and it seems like we’re in the era where Lucasfilm/Disney doubles down on reasonable criticism instead of listening to it.

Thanks for the idea! This was delicious. Though I reduced white chocolate to 2/3 to make it little less so... sweet.
