I actually didn't like this version of the x-wing, on-screen. But looking at this, I'm re-considering. It's also the best version I've seen built so-far.

Superb job. Regarding the T-70, when you have the model in your hands it grows on you. A bit like the JJ Prise. Hated it until I built the model

PS: The "new design" is actually old. Ralph Mcquarrie's pre-production Star Wars illustrations back in the 1970's were the basis for the T-70's (minus the split wing):

It's the Revell Level 1 Special Forces TIE. It's the only one I had because the Bandai one isn't built yet. Heh.
