Bandai A-wing and mini Star Destroyer + Y-wing

I got this A-wing about 3 and a half years ago and have been meaning to put it together for....well....3 and a half years.
And the other day I picked up both these mini Star Destroyer and Y-wing, so I decided I'm going to build them all back to back.
SD was first.

Amazing the amount of details in something so tiny.

Think of the tiny little guys running around in here.

That only took an hour. Fastest build ever!!!
I'll probably put a flat clear coat on them all.

Get more done during the weekend.

I have had a lot of fun with the mini-Vehicle model kits. Fun to paint and weather also. That they can cram as much accurate detailing into models so tiny, staggers the mind at times. I have not cracked open my A-wing that I got around the same time you got yours. But I did purchase fiber and lighting leds to light the cockpit, engines and the tower with some green laser lights.

I do not plan to light this.
I more want to just get it done and out of the way for another project I'm brainstorming on now.
But I hope to see how yours will turn out with all the lighting and lasers.

Put a super flat clear coat on the star destroyer. Also added a few of the stickers on the y-wing, which I usally don't really like, but it's so tiny that stickers are probably easier.

Took these with the phone and all color editing as well.
Be interesting to see how they look on the computer monitor vs phone screen.

So it looks more yellow....then I remembered the phone switches to "eye comfort mode" at sunset.
Turning that off, it is more close to the computer actually...still a bit more yellowish.

So hope to get some more detailing on the Y_wing, clear coated, then start the A-wing.

So now to put together the death star's turbolaser that comes with this, then a bit of weathering and decals and finally be finished with this guy.

Been over 2 months since I was able to get this finished. Christmas then covid mess didn't help.
Getting ready to start a new scratch built model, so wanted to hurry and get this out of the way.

I didn't follow the exact color scheme and did a bit of my own thing.
I did add these tiny little decals on yhe front. Others were even smaller, so I figure, nah, too much to even notice.

The stand that come with it with the little piece that connects to the bottom part here, in trying to adjust it, it snapped in two. I glued it and hoping it will be strong enough to still support the whole thing.
