Balien costume Kingdom of Heaven

Over the last year I've been trying to piece together Balien's Ibelin outfit from Kingdom of Heaven.


Here's where I am so far...


So now I need to get ahold of some chainmail leggings, make that epic burgundy cape, finish my shield project, and grow my hair from a buzz cut. Shouldn't take but a few years...

The Director's Cut of this excellent movie makes a more cohesive endeavor...one of my favorite medieval movies.

I agree. The Director's cut is the ONLY version in my opinion!

Got out to do a small photoshoot today. I'm still missing the chainmail leggings, but the rest is coming along.
