reyals: sorry dude.
my reply was uncalled for,and totally 'off the grid'.
it dont belong here,on the lair [which is why i never visit anymore]

thankyou both for your well worded replies. sorry again,
take care guys :)

Ok those last few posts where strange. Anyway i find it a little strange that SSC have done this bought the rights of the Narin kit
My point is SSC are a big company aint they. They have sculptors artists working for them so whats the need of asking a diff Artist (Narin)
can they buy the rights and molds of his kit. Sounds like SSC needs fresh Artist and sculptors lol.

@ Celtic...

Hey man, I really appreciate the apology. I probably should have been a little better at not lashing out about the whole situation with this subject.

I accept your apology and send mine your way. I don't want you to leave the Lair. I just posted off the handle when I said you should leave.

Sorry bro.

I think they should have NARIN do a figure for the 'artist select' line.

Congratulations to Narin on his success. The good folks at SS know the business and know talent when they see it, so it's not suprising at all that talks with Narin were initiated by them. Any artist..be they sculptor or painter would jump at the chance to work with sideshow collectables. As to the originals..all the kits in the Narin series where numbered and signed. To my mind..the Bad Blood original kits just increased in value. I personally own Bad Blood kit #13.

nope, since SS selling it for $300, i dont think the kit version increase the value, maybe $100~$200 top. it is common sense, if u can get it cheaper in prepaint, why pay high price 4 the kits version which require works to finish?

whatever Mr Narins doing, its his business, do watever, BUT im sure not going to buy anymore his so called" limited Kits"

these are not "limited" these are mass produce. it is "business" Tactics

WHY, bcas eventullay sideshow will release them as "Prepaint" with fair price.

for me will always be two different things. one has artistic value and the other a value of production.
But personally think my bad blood without building is much more valuable than a bad blodd mass production. Still I made a preorder of the massive version because I am a collector

We can disagree on this point. If you're asking me why I prefer the kit form, it's because I am an artist and there's nothing like having the raw kit pieces in front of you and step by step seeing it come together complete. There is a lot of work involved in painting predators yes..but there's a certain satisfaction to it that I cannot explain nor can I expect you to understand if you've never done it yourself.

Limited edition Kits are unique in that they are numbered, Narin personally signed each one by hand and once completed, that paint job is one of a kind in design. I'm positive that all the SSC versions will have the exact same paint theme. So I still say succuss to SSC and Narin..this can only further the pred cause and i'm all for that.

Well, if he's not buying the Narin kits anymore, I guess this means I may be able to purchase one someday. :D

I TOTALLY agree with you!!!!! REYAL think same like you, I'm artist and collector and understand all

I just don't see the argument in this being such a bad thing.

Like you said, the ones who were able to purchase the original kit and give it their own look have "one of a kind" in that aspect. Ssc buying the rights from Narin to mass produce (which is good for Narin, SSC, and PREDATOR merch altogether) the original does not take away from the collectibility of the original kit because they are signed and numbered by Narin...where as the SSC versions will more than likely have the same paint apps, c.o.a.'s, and lower quality detail.

So, we are of the same mind on this one RIK. Good looking out brother.
