backer rod

We have a mask that we used backer rod for, got it all from Home Depot. We used 1", 3/4" and 5/8" rod instead of going all 1 size.

what section of the store did you find it in? i looked all over HD for that stuff a few weeks ago and didn't find squat.

I'm pretty sure it was in the plumbing area, where the pvc piping and fittings were. They are in coiled up plastic bags. Ask a store dude/dudette if you can't find them. First time looking I spent 15 mins wandering around (cuz, i'm a guy and don't ask directions/help), but finally had to ask someone to point me in the right way.

cool, thanks for the tip. how much should i expect to spend on getting enough dreads for my mask? ie, how many bags?

I think each size came in 25ft or 50ft increments. 1 bag of the 25ft for each of the aformentioned sizes was quite sufficient. I want to say the bags were 4.99 each, but with all the numbers running around my head it could be + or - a dollar.

It is used to fill gaps for painting, caulking, etc. Its those respected departments. I use it everyday in my field of work. I can help get it if anyone has problems finding it. I have a warehouse with all types and sizes.
