I know exactly how you all feel, if you remember my outrage about identityprops - but a face to face check? We are not trading state secrets…

I personally have two in my wallet, 1 giving my name as Clark Kent & 1 as Bruce Wayne.(I'm actually neither of these people really) :lol sad arn't I?

Yes, of course... But if you fake YOUR ID, it's a crime?!? Isn't it? Here in Germany it is a crime... We have these checks for marketplaces in different boards, and only the Admins can see your IDs, in case there is a problem with deal, someone will have your adress, so more people don't try to rip you off...

It was just an idea, because in some forums this system works very well...

Oooooh yes, we could!!! And I'm pretty sure, no one would notice the difference between real and fake, if I would make such a fake ID. You should be glad, that I'm not a criminal. lol

I dont know how you handle things in the US, but we have in some boards a face-to-face check. If you want to deal with other members you have to send a scan of your ID.

Could be useful for the Paper Prop Section, too...

I don't think many people would be very comfortable with scanning such personal infomration for someone to see...

Hey guys, Merlin1974 instant messages me on AOL as a new member of the RPF looking for Bttf props
I guess he figured people wouldn't remember him after a few days :lol

Anyway, I made small talk then casually asked his ID name, and he wrote Briganda36 which is very close to member Brigandia36 who called the newspaper on him.
I contacted Montager and it was definitely him and that account was banned.

What concerns me is that he seems to have targeted someone here who he had an exchange of words with and got mad at in this thread. I think he might have been out to confuse us and pass any unquestionable acts he may plan on doing off on Brigandia36.

So just keep an eye out, and if you get any instant messages on other boards or MSN/AOL, try to casually get his new ID as he seems stupid enough to give it out

Seems like he's using the "try to look stupid and write like someone, who can't speak english properly" - now that's something I've never seen.

Well, he still has more IDs already on thus site. He has been relaying what is being said in this thread to someone on Facebook, so he cab still accesss this thread. We just need to be on out toes as far as sharing and keep checking to see if anything new pops up for sale in that French eBay type site.
