Back to the Future

What are the exact measurments ???

Based on the info I have, 8.42" x 5.22" is the size for the visible portion of the photograph itself, not including the part that is hidden by the mat board. I don't have any idea about the size of the actual frame, but maybe that is enough to figure it out. I know for sure that it's larger than a standard 8x10 frame.

(The version of the photo and mat board that Gus has is close to A4 size at 8.27" X 11.69", which looks close to me.)

Thanks DB537

I found i nice wood frame wich is 20 x 30 cm wich is 7,87" x 11,8" should be a good start. I will post some pics after the weekend.

You should try to get a nearly 100% accurate frame, I tried different frames over the years for different prop pictures and believe me, a 90% frame is not satisfying...

Hey, if anyone gets the frame, and wants to partner for this prop, I will be in, and if you dont, well, sell me a frame so I can have this accurate item I been waiting for forever!!!

I noticed a couple pages back Merlin1974 uploaded the Mcfly family photos with the disappearing kids.

Well. a couple months ago during the BTTF auction, I found the following pics.
They are much sharper than Merlins and as I haven't seen anyone else post or mention they had better quality photos, I thought maybe I have accidentaly stumbled upon the Holy Grail of the Mcfly photo.

What do you think?

These are how I found them on the auction site and haven't yet had time to play with the colours or replace the missing grass.

Yep, Ive got the kurtyboy pics and they are very nice... Hopefully some of these scans from the web are not scanned kurtyboy pics...

I started today with the small rose of the middle.

It´s my first attempt on sculpting something.

But I think for the first time it doesn´t look to bad.

Need to redo the paint job because i´ve got no silver here only bright grey.

I´m better in doing paper props, what do you think ???

Sculpt looks great! Are you planning to do a run of frames? Or is it just a "privat project"?

@ TomVDJ

When the sculpting is finished I will try to cast them in resin and then Gus and I plan a run of the complete frame including the Picture.

Looks awesome... Keep it up, if we got a full frame with ornaments like this Im sure no one will be unsatisfied with the end result...

Can't wait to see the finished piece...

Ladies and Gentlemen

I proudly present my first sculpting expirience.

I photoshopped my Ornaments over the real frame that you can see what it looks like when the frame is finished.

So if everybody is fine with that I gonna cast the ornaments and then we are ready for a run.

Please tell me what you think
