The invitation/ticket only looks Gray on the page because those pictures were black and white, not color photos. :cool
Look at the letter from Marty that is shown on the same page. It looks Gray in that book, but as you know, all of the "Lou's Cafe" stationery was White.

I'm still looking for a SCREEN ACCURATE "Blast from the Past" logo (as seen on the bag when Marty takes out the Almanac). I have some logo's, but all are not screen accurate (font of "FROM the PAST" is not correct).
The blue receipt markpoon added to his Gray Sports Almanac as the correct logo on it. I scanned it (not I'm not sharing this, since it's not my creation), but quality is not as high as I'd like it...

Anyway, I'm going to reconstruct the logo from scratch in Adobe Illustrator, based on a screencap of the bag and the receipt that came with my Sports Almanac.

Which Font?!? I checked the receipt from marcppon, the "from the past" looks very close to me...
I have another label from the bag, but the logo is the same on it, only in black, but a pic just in black/white would be nice...

Mmm, then either you have another receipt as me, or your defenition of "very close" is different ;-). Anyway, I go for at least 95% screen accurate. I think the version you posted is about 75% - 80%.
Thanks for the help anyway, but I'm a perfectionist. If it's not good enough, I'll make it myself in most cases ;-). But it's not because it's not good enough in my opiniont, that other people have to think the same. For a lot of people who aren't as freaky as me, the logo you posted will indeed be good enough...
Here is a much more screen accurate version of the top section of the Lou's Cafe stationery, with the correct fonts. They used 7x10" paper for these.
The handwriting found in the different versions that are available is not accurate at all. I was attempting to recreate Marty's entire letter as it is actually seen in the movie using HD screencaps, (and other reference material for the couple of areas you can't see). Unfortunately this is just beyond my level of skill and patience with photoshop/illustrator. Anybody else want to give it a try? :love

I do have the Lou's Cafe in a higher resolution. Photobucket shrinks everything I upload. But the resolution shown here will print fine at the actual size of 7x10. There is about 1/4 of an inch of blank space on the left and right side of the line when you print it, and on the top side the chef hat should be just a bit closer to the edge than 1/4".
The "Antique Coins and Bills" sign was hand painted on the glass. I believe it will be difficult to match it to a font.
