Back to Back to the Future - BTTF comic with Eric Stoltz

I fully support this. Until my death. Eric should have been Marty in my opinion. And I know that will make me a target for all my fellow BTTF fans, but hear me out:
Erc is a phenomenal actor. The Mask, Pulp Fiction, and others as well! He''s made a name for himself. And BTTF being a serious, but also funny sci-fi drama would be interesting to see. I'd love to see what they do with this story, and see what Gale, Zemeckis, and Spielberg think about this idea. And like I said, this would make me a target. But I firmly stand with Fox as well as he did great! And the film endured well. But my curiosity gets the better of me mostly

Everything I've read/heard about the Stolz version makes it sound like it wouldn't be serious-but-funny. Stolz was just being serious, period. That would have been clashing with some of the lighter elements of Doc Brown and Biff and George.

IMO there could have been a perfectly good, serious version of BTTF with Eric Stolz. But it probably needed more significant changes than just dropping Stolz into Fox's shoes. At the very least the script needed a mild re-write to darken the tone. Maybe some of the other actors needed switching too.
