Hello all,
Chap I know a fellow, Dave Gospich who has been selling his version of the Identicard on eBay incuding Psi Corps card as well.
He was been wrking on a transparent Identicard much closeer to the ones on the show.
I have measured a test shot he sent me (I wasn't as careful with it as I should have been).
This is a vectorized image done by Al Berardi based on the illustration in the Babylon 5 Security Manual.
This is his efforts printing it out on three layers of tranparencies.

I was wondering it you have ever tried to make any of the clear document from the show. I do remember seeing several throughout the series, just having a problem finding examples. The best example I could find were these IPX sheets from Thirdspace.

so far I'm watching Babylon 5 for the second time. The first time in the mid 1990s we had an overload of sci-fi and mystery shows on TV, since a few weeks I can watch a rerun and I must say that I'm enjoying the show much more than 20+ years ago.
And I look what I can see in the background. Underneath is a typical example, to redraw this image I needed 3 screencaps and had to rewatch the scene about 6 times to read the missing words.
And to answer your question: Up to now I have not seen Thirdspace yet, so until now I was not aware that these props existed. Have you got pictures with the single sheets?

Sorry no, I haven't been able to find any images if the sheets besides what I had posted.
... and the next one is finished. From season 4, episode 20.
I'd love to have a copy of the one from the episode with all of Clark's scribbles.

Thanks, usually I let them print in a copy-shop in the next bigger city. E.g. the displays for the Cabin Light Box PADDs from Star Trek - Nemesis. And their turned out quite nice.

Hi guys, due to the corona crises I'm working only halftime and have got more time being creative. Attached are the sources and my redrawn graphics from various Babylon 5 episodes. The non-visible glyphs I replaced with my artistic freedom.
BTW: I noticed that the Centauri writing on the file "2173 Centauri Screen" makes some sence. It simply says "MILITAR TRANSMISSION", no idea why the Y is missing. The other words in various alien fonts are just nonsense.

Hi guys,
this sign can be seen in the last episode of season 2. The Narn writing is reading a bit like "NARNUNITE????", so just a little bit of sense. So far I've got no idea what this red objects in the black triangles supposed to be. I have just redrawn what I could recognize.

Dietrich, I believe the black triangles are meant to represent low or zero gravity visually for the races that don't have it written on the sign.

Thanks, that could be a solution for the cryptic objects. Last night I finished this poster from season 2, episode 18. Unfortunately the Drazi and Centauri writing don't make any sense.

If you think about it that makes sense, just like Japanese, Chinese, Arabic and other languages would not directly translate into English. While everyone on the show spoke English with a few exceptions, it wouldn't mean that the warnings are all in English. All the other races would have their own languages as well as written language. Gets you out of having to follow the English script when using another races written language,
