Does anyone have a template for the AVP cerimonial dagger? Sorry if theres already a thread on this, im really busy, therefore dont have time to search through for it.

So, is the blade 50 centimeters long? or the whole thing.

I would still perfer a template if someone has one.

Use Immortals pic. Cause his shot is the real Ceremonial Dagger. I made the Alien Handled version to spec for a 6 foot mans leg. I slightly altered Immortals template so it is just right for a normal sized man in a suit. Good luck with your Dagger. They are tricky to do just right.

Theres two simple line drawings to the left of the main picture, is the one to the right the sheath? (i think im gunna have to get a few screen caps on this...) Not as simple as i originaly thought, i'll probally end up using alot of artistic lisence on my first one...

Have either of you got any measurements for it? (the template is really small when i put it into word)

Thats not even the same Dagger as the one Gary made.

MAZ , Scotts template is the best you will find.

Shaitan/Garys dagger ( the one i have ) is 51cm long with 34cm of blade , give or take a few mm.

you should be able to work from that , good luck

When I 1st made a template of Immortals to scale, I found the blade tips too skinny. They seemed too fragile at scale. So I altered mine.... but kept the same basic blade shape. Tried to beef it up a bit. I noticed another guys Ceremonial being sold on ebay at that time that was seemingly close to the movie versions shape ie the handle, and saw that he really bastardized the movie versions blade shape = strayed a bit too far away from the basic original imho. And I wanted to stay alot closer to the original. That is why I opted for the blade tips not being attached. Fyi.

I made from wood and with a completly different design. And a bit bigger (2x the normal size). Still I'm going to make the APV dagger today also from wood.
