As a fan of all kinds of OST i must say that i'm quite surprised. Never known about the skills of this Tyler guy.

Seems quite good, and surely the score will be better than the movie itself.

Anyway i rather liked to hear another Alan Silvestri Score, like the amazings predator 1 and 2 scores.

most of the time is the case, for example id listen to the AVP music all day over watcihng the film,,batman begin is a great film but without that mucic all you have is landscapes for the first 20 minutes, theres too many to list

Agreed, but after the colasal flop the first AVP was I can only remain highly optomistic for this installement... if this one goes down in flames that would certainly mean the end of this franchise. So... THIS MOVIE MUST OWN.

IMHO Alan Silvestri will never be topped for pred music, but Tyler's stuff it's a damn-sight better than that toiletful of bilge by Harold Kloser on the last film.
My only criticism is the contentious-cheesy-GQ wannabe-conceit filled profile photo on the linked page---gimme a break!

That was cool. and i will say it kinda did sound like the Pirates soundtrack but then again it also sounded a little like parts of aliens, my opinion of course. But im sure it will sound even better when mixed in with the movie.---Joe

Close to Pirates?? You mean POTC?? Mmm... that's not the kind of sound from Media Ventures - Remote Control (i mean the Hans Zimmer Studio), but sounds well.

And about the comparison between Movie and its soundtrack... well remember some of the last blockbuster films (i.e: POTC 3 - Spiderman 3 and a lot more). In those films, the only thing that was OK was the OST.

I really hope this time this time i'm wrong.
