It looks like an older Zeiss model I used to work on.....

So I'm guessing this is just a mockup of an electron microscope, right? Very nice....

Ya when I saw the film I was kind of giggling to myself about how many electron microscopes they had in that opening scene of the lab... and now with super-resolution systems coming along.... by that time in the future EM would be obsolete. It is kind of like that microscope in the sick bay of the Enterprise NX-01 in the Enterprise series....that was a pretty basic system....

Here are two microscopes I've been responsible for....

(both Zeiss LSM510s, one upright, the other inverted...)
