He was only 86? Seems like he's always been around. I had to laugh that he was on a special about Amelia Earhart because she and his dad had an affair when he was younger lol. He left behind a large body of work that's for sure. Even 4 lines on Family Guy.

I loved his book 'Julian". It was one of the few books I started to read again as soon as I finished it. This was back in college and we had to write a paper on it. 'Lincoln' was also a good read.

As I get older-86 does not seem that old.
