hey guys.
nearly finished my new suit, but im abit stuck on how to do this..
i have a full face mask, and a bio to go over the top. how do you guys attatch yours? i need it so its easy to just pull off. iv tried a big magnet inside the mask, but the latex is too thick, and im not too keen on putting velcro on, as this would look crappy when the bio is off!

helP! :p

You need high strength magnets, I forget what they are called I think it something like eridium magnets but it's not something you would find at Wal-Mart. You would need to get them off the net and they are not cheap. You would also need them in more than just one spot. I had a set of there magnets that worked through my hand. A strong bond at even an inch apart.

Do an ebay search for Neodymium magnets, otherwise known as earth magnets. Can find them in various sizes/strenghts, and generally for a decent price.

I've found rare earth magnets at my local Hobby Lobby (also known as Michael's). Pretty cheap too.
I used them on my throwing disc/holster. I had to use 5 of them to get the power needed to keep the disc in the holster, but yet keep it weak enough that I could pull the disc off without a struggle.

I'd recommend getting a pack of about 5 or six of the medium sized magnets and experimenting.

Neodymium Magnets
These things look super strong, which leads me to a question. Given their strength, is it difficult to pull off a bio from your mask, or do you need to pry it off? :p

While these puppys are very strong they are pretty easy on pulling apart. Affix the magnets to the rear top of the Bio ( on the side near the "tips") and then correspond inside the mask...throw a coat of foam over the magnets under the mask and away you go. This is the way they were installed on my old DB suit, and that big wolf bio never even came close to falling off that mask. When I went to take the helmet off, I just lifted up from the sides and it just popped off like a small seal was broken. Hope this helps, Carl.
