Attaching The Med Kit (Backpack) To The Backplate? Advice

Hi guys, long time no speak lol

I have recently purchased a resin/ glass fibre P1 med kit (backpack) and I have now painted it etc. I now need to attach it to the backplate, the backplate being made of Latex. Can anyone advise me of the best way to attach the backpack to the backplate please? 

I wanted to make it detachable if possible to make the suit easy to get on and off but I am also concerned about it falling off easy whilst wearing it.

Have you tried heavy duty Velcro I use it for my clone trooper armor and it holds really well

No not tried that. Was thinking of using side release clips like what you find on rucksacks or daily use backpacks

What about neodymium magnets? I used those to attach my bio mask to the predator face. And they're not that expensive either.

That's a good idea rare earth magnets are really strong I also use them for my starwars costumes
