*UPDATE 7/5/2020 * i have included at the end of the thread the new ASH vs. EVIL DEAD necro image we did at www.theknightsofsumeria.com which features 101 images on over 50 pages, all color and not 1 page from Ed1, Ed2 or 2013 ,its all AVED. we are very proud but to see the full thing you'll have to check out the website, as im only posting the 1 image here :) New cover sculpted by Cbstudios and page work is all by me. no elder prop pages here anymore.

no im not commissioning these due to respect for wishes of Tom Sullivan who owns the trademarks. BUT i am sharing mine here is a few pages and the cover of my necronomicon. Cover was sculpted by Pirkelations on etsy. 10x8. pages are gathered from a number of sources, including bookofthedead.ws, jasper, screen caps, elder props, and scans of the original itself. the order is identical to the animatic from ED2 and AOD that opens the films. a few pages from ED thrown in that were missing from the ED2 version intro and i added 3 full page spreads from the series. if not for the series i probably would not have been inspired enough to build this finally. nor would i have had enough push to build an ED version instead of the AOD cover as that was my all time favorite installment in the anthology. I must say i love the series to death tho. So i hope you enjoy, if you want to see the FULL FLIP THROUGH, i did a youtube video where its like a film trailer with a voice over and what not. i also did a video on my page aging method which is dry in the sense that involves no tea, no coffee, no water bottle, no bath. so i refer to it as a 'dry' aging method. comments and questions are welcomed

Great finised piece. I found your videos and have not seen the "dry" technique before. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the work and a fellow ED fan.

Excellent, I finally have the chainsaw after years of trying to get one, (unmodified at the moment) id love one of these :)

Thanks for the props guys..pun intended. I am building a party safe chainsaw. Ill update w progress pics

So here is the progress so far. this chainsaw u can get online or at spirit halloween for like 45 bucks. i used a coupon and got it cheap. retooled the handle to the side, moved teh electronics, removed less accurate parts and cut the hole and repainted. next is to add teh parts that need to be added adn then weather the crap out of it. not bad to have a functional chainsaw toy hand with sounds to complete a party costume :) will continue to post as i go.

id like to see some photos please post em here, before or after the mod. im posting my toy chainsaw mod here as well

Spot on ;):thumbsup no idea when I'll start it, it's in pieces in a box and has been for a while lol best get moving on it at some point :)

When I converted my homelite, I use 1 inch wide, 1/8 inch thick bar stock and then cut a 1 inch wooden dowel down to size, split it, and mounted it through with large bolts sandwiching the whole thing together.

The 1/8 inch barstock was annoying to bend as well, it doesnt like like extreme bends.

Funny enough I am in the middle of tearing apart the Gemmy chainsaw and installing it into my homlite. Very fun little chainsaw toy.

Weathering done. Gotta add the handle, grill, and pull handle. U see the exposed speaker...it still has working chainsaw sounds and moving chain. Couldnt add smoke. Tried :/
