Arkham Red Hood (Jason Todd) Variant WIP

I think you get the honor of my first post. haha.
Anyways, I would put "Arkham" or "Arkham Asylum" on back and "J. Todd" on front. Idk if this is in line with real facilities (I think it is), but it would get you more recognizably from afar. Many people will see Arkham and say, "oooh, from batman." J. tood and AACI will get you a, "who are you." Names on back seem too much like baseball.
To answer your question, yes there were some scenes in the comics and/or in BTAS where Dr. Arkham said that allowing the inmates to wear their masks/costumes comforted them and made healing their psyche easier (actually an excuse to help the viewer recognize their personas).
Also, with everything but his name patch, why don't you just stencil or use iron ons. that is how they would really do it in correctional facilities. it is cheaper for them and will be cheaper for you. if you want to use a patch for the name and number, might as well make it velcro so you can reuse the jumpsuit for other villians.

I like the costume but think its lame that it says batman on the hood.

The hood is from SDCC, it's not custom made, I got it because I thought it would work, I was wrong, I plan on making one out of the same material as the jumpsuit.

I'm honored first and foremost

As far as the name, etc, it was already decided that it would be on a patch in front like in the dark night movie and the back would say Arkham Asylum

I was actually considering stenciling it on with black spray paint and then washing it until it looked warn and aged, so thanks for helping me choose that, XD

For the Velcro idea, I'd rather sew it on, I don't plan on doing any of the other villains at any point in my life, I never really liked them enough to do it, Nightwing, Batman, The Joker, Harley, Ivy and The Red Hood have always been what I liked batman for. I can't look that much like a girl and have no desire to, and I wont put white makeup on, XP

Anyway, If you had ideas on how the stencil Arkham Asylum in, I'd love to here them as mine will probably be the least thought out.

So a bit of an update, I actually used some of this and my other Red Hood Costume at a party, and I have the Perfect boots now, I'll take pictures soon. All that's left is the material for the mask, the stenciled on patch and stencil in the back.

But Due to money and my 360 breaking I have to wait a little while longer now, but we'll see.

Actually, because my mother has coupons, etc, I may be able to start a prototype costume as all I need is the jacket and hoodie, I even have the dress shoes already.

(I didn't even know that you could get stuff for free from CVS)

Here are the Boots, Brahma Swats, they aren't prefect but they get the job done.

Now I was considering cutting the top from the pants of the jumpsuit to make the top a jacket, are there any thoughts on that?

hmmm the jacket idea would work but you (might) need a blood stained vest underneath showing slightly
