Arkham Origins Batarang

So this arrived on my doorstep a little while ago...

First off, the wooden box itself is huge, but pretty solid. Open it up, and this was inside:

And it's just as friggin' big. But here's the best bit. That screen in the middle? It actually shows a trailer from Arkham Origins. Oh, and it's very, very loud.

It came with a stand as well, so I'm planning to make a proper display for it. I'll be building something to hang my Batman cowl on, behind the batarang.

Was this a pre-order item? Looks amazing! it brings to mind a batarang thats flight can be programmed or something. Or maybe one he could throw into a wall and have a pre-recorded message play!

It's something that was exclusive to press. They only made a 1000 of these, and sent them out to various writers.

Have you decided which approach your taking with the stand? Minimal to emphasize the displayed pieces, or the other side of the spectrum where it's almost as detailed and interesting as the displayed pieces?

Thanks bud! But yeah, you're thinking along the same lines that I am. Ideally, I'd love to get a CoofunkCurly Arkham cowl somewhere donw the line for this prop, but I'm going to keep it simple and use my Begins Cowl. The Batarang itself is the jewel of this collection, and I want to emphasize that.

It's your general plastic design, with teeth I reckon, but no screens. I'd rather not take a screwdriver to this little beauty, if you know what I mean
