Are one of you folks responsible for the Steampunk keyboard?

I love that keyboard.

Why? It reminds me of something from Terry Gilliam's "Brazil" – I love the deco-post-futuro look.

I may have to do something like this to an old keyboard, very cool and i have a few ideas to make it cooler, not a fan of the belt background, would be cool with a vented metal sheet or somethig.

That's beautiful.
It would look really good in the Tardis...

Agreed, it would fit in there perfectly. Instead of a CMD or Apple key it could have a Seal of Rassilon key. :lol

That is 16 different shapes of awesome.

If only they steampunk'd a natural keyboard..

must . . . . have . . . :love Shineeeeyyy...

I agree that the felt background isn't all that cool. Perforated brass or even a nice dark-stained wood would be cooler. oooh, mohagony and brass . . . . :drool

Very cool conversion. And it was fascinating to read the build diary and watch the videos of his technique.

I agree with Phayze, though: mahogany in place of the felt would be killer.
