Pics 18-22 are CG composite fakes. some parts are real, but the perspective and apparent cup depth are all off. These pictures will confuse you more then help you. Pic 25 is the clearest of it's true complete construction. And yes, the Lens is domed and cut into segments to fit inside the bezel.

We did have the keyhole slots, sort of. If I remember correctly, the keyholes where only on the unit before the TRI. Because Tony had to keep removing it to replace the palladium. In the movie they CGed it as an ejection, but the unit we built held the "battery" (palladium) in the cup so that it would twist lock to remove. Actually, here this illustrates it perfectly

I agree with kaiwalkerz about the the MK VI not being really liked. I have no interest in the design or my friends and I haven't seen or read anything really on it or a prop build.
