I recently completed this Apollo DSKY Replica, and would be happy to do a deep dive retrospective build report if there's interest. Always feel free (and encouraged!) to ask questions.

Yes, it's running a modified version of VirtualAGC with updated high resolution graphics created by yours truly. (And I'm currently working with Ron Burkey to officially merge my changes into his project.) It runs all flown software configurations using the original code. Through simple configuration it can connect to an external AGC (such as one running in a simulator) as well.

If you watch the attached videos you can see one that's simply running a replay of the Apollo 11 landing. The other is running the actual code from the Apollo 17 Lunar Module. I was keying in commands from a Bluetooth keyboard behind the camera for a V35E lamp test, V36E display clear, and V37E00E "goto P00h" which is the idle program.
