Anyone who worked for Master Replicas need help ASAP- Fett case busted, need replaced

I need help from anyone on here who worked for Master Replicas. I shipped my MR Boba Fett blaster case and UPS busted it up. I need to see if someone knows what it would cost to replace it. If not does someone know who made their cases so I could contact them? UPS claims needs an estimate of what it cost to repair. !*$#@*% UPS...

Contact KodoFett. He makes MR style cases and they are amazing

If UPS needs an estimate, go to a trophy shop and ask how much to make the same display case, then send UPS the estimate and get on with it. Good luck finding a replacement from MR , it's been way to long and the displays were made in CHINA.

Thanks! The guy got pictures of the box and it's obvious it was crushed. I have little doubt that UPS will say it wasn't packed well enough though.

They might have been made in China, but I think SD Studios was using bases like that before he started MR. Not 100% sure.

Sorry to hear that the case got busted, usually they have been pretty tough. Over the years, many of the MR full-size blasters received shipping damage where the vertical supports attach into the base. Hope that the claim got resolved well.

If your buyer would still like a case, you or he could post a WTB (Want to Buy) ad here in the Junkyard or on the Dented Helmet for one. Many times people have kept their MR blasters and sold the cases. (Secret: they display better without the cases!).

Still, that option involves waiting and hoping. Instead, the trophy shop suggestion is a good one. Also, what you (your buyer) could do is search for and contact an acrylics case company, or search for acrylic display, acrylics display case, etc. Local companies like that make custom display boxes all the time. I looked into something like this (I think even for a replacement MR case, actually) years ago here in Georgia and found Atlanta Plastics (atlantaplastics).

Thanks for the info, but it's already taken care of. PITA dealing with UPS though because I doubt they accept any damage claim unless a forklift runs the box through or you have a video of a UPS employee doing the damage.
