I need some 1/8 in. plexi (clear amber), cut 2.5 in. by 3.75 in. Here is a pic of what the finished item needs to look like. I need say 10 of them.

Someone else on here had the same question a couple of days ago, maybe I can find the thread, and attach the weblink here in my post! Here're a couple of websites that you can try. Ebay user eastsideplastics,or www.rideoutplastics.com/acplas.html I hope that this will give you some options other than trying to search alone!:)

If I were doing it, print a template and tape it to the surface with double stick tape. I would then use a plastic scoring tool to score and snap the basic shape and then clean the edges and radius the corners on a sanding wheel, using the template to ensure I got the shape I wanted.

That could get tedious for 10 though. You may want to make a template out of wood and use a router to cut them out. I have never tried it, but this website says you can use a router with acrylic.

If you are not successful in finding anyone, try the following:

http://www.delviesplastics.com/mm5/...&Category_Code=Transparent_Cast_Acrylic_Sheet

Delvies Plastics carries small sheets of 1/8in 12in x 12in cell cast acrylic in both transparent and translucent amber. Cost is around $5/sheet. You will also need an acrylic knife to score the sheet, a metal straight end, several grades of sandpaper, and a nipper. Oh, and do not forget safety glasses.

The idea is to score and break off a 3.75in x 12in strip off the sheet and then score and break off 2.5in rectangles from the strip. Score and break off the large corner. Score the 3 small corners and use the nippers to cut/break off the small corners. Use the sandpaper to sand the cut sides (if desired) and round off the 3 small corners.

Delvies Plastics does offer an additional service to cut the sheet to size, however you need to call or email for more info on pricing.

Also try www.eplastics.com. They also sell 1/8in transparent and translucent amber sheets, but in larger sizes. Call them up and see if they have any smaller sheets. eplastics also offers an additional service to cut the sheet (e.g., 9 cuts for $15).

Forgot to mention. The additional service for cutting the sheet is usually only for straight cuts. So even if you pay them to cut the sheet, you still have to deal with the corners.

If you require high precision cuts, you might want to consider laser cutting. Check out www.customlasercutting.com. I think the charge is $0.15/in or about $2 a piece. One advantage of laser cutting is the cut edges have a nice polish.

customlasercutting can order the amber sheet for you from Delvies.
