Anyone know this person? ebay auction

I dunno...but judging from some of the other kits he sells, he looks like a world class RE-CASTER. He has a Wonder Woman kit that is obviously cast from the recent Adam Hughes statue.

He may very well deliver what you bid on, but it's probably supporting the piracy of our hobby.

Hummm.....not crazy about this response.
Anyone else??

I'd like to bid on this but I don't want to support a recaster.

It really sucks how these days we can't buy anything because we don't want to support recasting. I was looking at this the other day too.

This guy has been selling these for a while now. Im actually looking to get a Goblin mask to finish off my Spidey display and have also looked at this auction(s) a few times now but never made the move.....but to be honest, it was the extra charge for painting it that put me off!!
Being a big daft newbie to the Props game though, I never even thought about the recasting issues with these sorta pieces and the implications it brings with it!!!:redface :unsure

Looks superb imo though!!!:$

Well he is shipping from Bangkok, Thailand - which makes usps kind of hard to use. :confused
I just can't assume everything is recast, I have never seen any complaints about this mask being cast or recast-nor seen anyone talk about any goblin mask origin.
I think all you can realisticly expect people to do is watch out and avoid those people who have a history of recasting -and pay attention to boards like these whee things are recast are pointed out. If no one is complainging about an item or a seller - I can't see it's the buyer who has to go out of there way investigating. I buy stuff in the JY all the time here, I don't track town each item - I just can't assume everyone is "bad".
My guess is that someone "recast" one of these (or more) from a studio mold years ago and every vesion we have seen since using that copy - they sure all look identical - in which cast they are all true recasts (although people don't care about that - just if fans made it:confused )
I say if you like it, and no one here has any idea that it is a recast fan made item, then bid on it.

PMMODELS is a recaster or definitely sells recasts - no consensus on whether he recasts himself - but also sells original stuff, so it's difficult to know what this is... though, he has been selling a lot of them.

Even when selling "originals", people in the model kit community will avoid a seller, if he also sells recasts, as that speaks of a doubtful moral - even if he is just a re-seller.

Buy at your own risk.

I would stay away as I am pretty sure he was known by another E-Bay name, PK Models I think it was, before he was shut down for non-delivery of many items and quality of the ones he did ship.

It still seems kind of vague if he recasts, makes his own, etc. I still have not heard a peep out of anyone on this particular item, and where an original may have come from. - But I do understand if you think he does recast sometimes you might not want to give him buisness even for a non-recast item.
Well I don't know if he had another screen name, but he has over 300 feedback on this one at over 97% positive, that makes him a pretty safe seller to me.

:lol My bad, didn't realize he was shipping from thai land

As for the feedback. It's hard to judge by, granted he has 300 positive, he could be one of those sellers that hold your positive feedback ransom or just getting it from people that don't know anything about recasting.

Safe untill you are the first one to be stung! :lol

True, but then that is true of everyone and everything. :confused
I prefer I slightly more positive outlook.
Of course I still hate the 2 people who screwed me over on ebay over the last 8 years or so. :lol
