Mal Pistol Update: Even Better Than Promised.
We will have three of our QMx crew stationed at our manufacturing shop soon to perform QA on the products and to make sure everything is progressing smoothly. We will be sending "field reports" to you as soon as we have more information, so watch our blog for updates. FYI, we have made several improvements to the product, which have caused some delays, but we think will result in a better overall product. e.g.; actual metal screws instead of the original cast-in place resin screws (this required a complete rebuild of the master pattern and the hand-installation of over 24,000 screws in production.) We also redesigned the front of the barrel to incorporate a machined steel barrel insert to provide a "cleaner" appearance than the original cast front end on the original prop. Finally, we upgraded the wood grips to a better grade of walnut and redesigned the packaging with Universal's help to be even nicer. There are thousands of components completed and more are getting done every day. So, stay tuned...they ARE coming and they will be BETTER than originally planned.[/b]
