My Rodd.com TOS phaser rifle is one of my most prized prop replicas -- mostly because it was the first one I fell lin love with, back when I was 10 years old.
I would like to build a nice display for it and I am looking for ideas.
My first thought is a wall-mounted display with the phaser mounted vertically. The heavy weight of the piece makes this a challenge, but I think it is do-able. I'm considering a steel backplate with with a reinforced bracket at the bottom to "cup" the black handle and a smaller bracket at the top to hold the aluminum barrel upright.
Has anyone tackled this?
