Anyone catch Southland last night on TNT?

Just wondering if anyone else caught the show last night on TNT, the series premiere and what they thought of it. Personally I thought it was OK, little too much drama, despite the fact it is a drama show, I thought it was too much for a first episode, where you don't really know any of the characters so you find yourself not caring. I usually give new shows 2 episodes to impress me so we shall see next week.

I watched it last year when it was on ABC (or whatever channel it was on). I like the show. Wish it hadn't been cancelled but looking forward to TNT airing the unaired episodes.

It's good. It's a drama, not a "cop show" so it actually comes off as plausible.

I caught half an episode of Criminal Intent the other night and was laughing at how absurd it was. I can't believe (millions of) people watch that show.

I liked it last year as well. Re-watched it last night and enjoyed it again. I would like to see a few more episodes this time.:unsure

Have you tried watching Cold Case? that show is worse......but i cant help but watch it haha


I know I know....i am necro posting, but I dont feel like making a new thread.....I actually love watching southland....when it first came out, i didnt give it a shot.....bored one night.....nothing else was on.....watched southland and loved it......i havent watched a cop show since i was a kid....the show was on abc....totally forgot the name, but i actually like this show

i care for the characters and they have great actors as well...

So I didn't realize TNT was actually making new seasons. I finished season 2 and I'm working on season 3 now. Still good.
