Anybody have info on THE newspaper?

I totally didn't realize this until someone posted it on another board:

Turns out there's this one newspaper prop that they just reprint over and over and use all over TV and movies.. and they've been doing it for years. Same paper.

Seems like a hell of an idea for a paper prop, especially if anyone here has access to one of the originals.

When I saw this I laughed - I have a stack of those Earl Hays newspapers in my kit, but stopped using them ages ago because I thought they were getting too much exposure. I made my own newspapers from then on. Actually there's a LOT of these Wilhelm Scream type props if you really, really pay attention. In fact. we purposefully reuse some of them just for our own amusement. For instance, there's one particular photo of a baby that's been in countless TV show and movie living room sets. A set decorator friend of mine found it at a yard sale in the 80s and it's been a staple on her sets ever since. I'm not at liberty to discuss the particulars! haha. I've used certain names, numbers, images, photos in a lot of the animation and playback graphics I've done on 24, Heroes, House, Criminal Minds, CSI, Crossing Jordan, Bones, etc... One particular friend of mine has been a terrorist, serial killer, serial killer victim, criminal and even the President among many other things in stills and video on computer monitors for years. TV shows are loaded with inside jokes, too. I've hidden many things in plain sight for decades. haha. Not overt enough to draw any attention from anyone but the most obsessive fan, but it's definitely in there.
